“VIP DJ really made a great difference in our event. Valerie is very enthusiastic, knowedgeable, and positive. She really wanted to learn about our event and how we wanted it to flow, and the great thing about VIP DJ is you are getting a planner as much as a dj. Valerie had many great ideas to help us in our planning, and really put us at ease knowing they would help manage the timing and flow of the event, instead of just showing up and playing music. The online planning tool is easy to use, and allows you to communicate the sequence and timing of various elements (dinner, introduction, dancing, speeches, toasts, cake-cutting, etc. There is also a page where you can list your 25 “must-play” songs from their extensive cataloig. Due to our hectic schedule, we didn’t submit the on-line planning and song list until a couple days before our event, but Valerie and her team still able to be fully prepared.

On the day of our event Terry arrived early and had everything set up in minutes. There was time for Terry to meet with us and go over everything brfore things got started, and he was very attentive and friendly. We had CD’s for various dances that we wanted to do, and he ripped them and had them spooled up in minutes. We also had a CD of more songs that we wanted on top of the on-line list, and he ripped that in a few minutes. Once the event started, he had the perfect feel to manage the flow of things, when to encourage the guests and when to sit back and let it flow. When things fell behind schedule, he just went with the flow and read the crowd and got everything in without things feeling rushed or stressed. He handled requests with friendly aplomb, and he went to the dance floor and did a great dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

Terry was awesome, and so was Valerie and VIP DJ. There are so many things to worry about when planning and executing your event, so many things that can go wrong, but with VIP DJ there is one less thing to worry about.”
